Get lost with crumbl

Crumbl is inspired by the story of Hansel and Gretel. Instead of using physical breadcrumbs however, it uses digital breadcrumbs. This allows Crumbl to map the journeys you take in nature and then when you are lost, or just ready to return it will guide you back to your starting position. This allows users to embrace the natural world, specifically taking routes off the beaten track, this allows users to feel like pioneers, exploring new places that have never been explored before. Without Crumbl most people would keep to the popular paths and routes. Crumbl liberates the user, giving them the autonomy to explore all routes.

Don't just think with your head, think with your hands as well!

Within this project, I discovered a new design process rooted in exploration and making. We went through numerous fast-paced iterations, each one sparking a new idea or uncovering a misstep we had taken. This hands-on, iterative approach taught me that sometimes it's better to just do—rather than overthink the doing!
